Being shy doesn't mean you can't be the life of the party. These magic tricks are specifically designed for introverts and shy people - they require minimal talking but maximum impact!
Approach anyone (even a group). Hold up your phone and say:
"Quick question - what's the last digit of your phone number? Don't tell me the rest, just the last digit."
Then do the magic number trick and reveal their whole number!
No talking needed: The trick does all the conversation for you.
Write on a piece of paper: "Think of a number 1-10. Multiply by 2, add 10, divide by 2, subtract original. It's always 5, right?"
Hand it to someone. When they nod in amazement, you've got a connection!
Carry small cards that say: "Pick a number. Double it. Add 6. Divide by 2. Subtract original number. Result = 3. I knew you'd pick 3!"
Hand them out at networking events!
Say: "Can I borrow your phone for 10 seconds? I want to show you something."
Use the phone number trick (or let them do it themselves). Now you're bonded!
• The Thumb Bend: Pretend to bend your thumb. Just hold it and wiggle fingers - people will laugh!
• The Finger Lock: Put your fingers together. Challenge anyone to pull them apart. Show them how it's done (lock them tight). End with a smile and walk away!
• The Floating Pen:平衡 a pen on your finger, move to find center of balance. Everyone will ask how!
