Hold coin in right hand. Pretend to put it in left. Don't actually transfer it - palm it in right. Close left hand, show empty. Open right, coin reappears.
Hold packet in one hand. Make a gesture with other. While moving, secretly drop packet into your lap. Show empty hand. Works great at coffee shops.
Hold card between thumb and finger. Close hand slowly while pushing card into finger palm. Open hand - card gone. The slow close is key.
Borrow someone's phone. Cover it with a napkin. Under the napkin, drop it into your lap. Shake napkin - phone gone. Give napkin to them while you "find" phone elsewhere.
