First dates can be nerve-wracking. But having a few magic tricks up your sleeve can be the difference between a "nice to meet you" and "wow, that was unforgettable!"
Start the date with this instead of boring small talk:
"I have a weird talent... let me prove it. Think of any number between 1 and 10. Multiply by 2, add 8, divide by 2, subtract your original number. The answer is always 4, right? Now that's out of the way - what should we order?"
Why it works: You've shown you're interesting AND created a laugh within 30 seconds.
Before the date, write on a napkin: "By the end of our date, [their name] will be thinking about seeing me again."
Midway through, pull it out and "predict" something simple - like what they're studying or where they're from.
At the end, reveal your real prediction. It's playful and memorable!
At dinner, ask them to choose a number between 1-9. Multiply by 2, add 5, multiply by 50. Tell them to add the bill total (or any number they want). Ask for the result - you can "read" their mind! Works every time.
Ask them to write their name, then rearrange letters. Have them add numbers to it. You "magically" reveal their result. It's a great conversation starter!
Ask them to think of any concept. Have them multiply their birth year by a random number, then reveal what they were thinking about. It's classic mentalism that's easy to do!
As you're saying goodbye:
"Before I let you go, I have one more trick. Close your eyes and think of a number."
Have them do the mental math. Their answer is always 5!
Then say: "That's how many times I'm going to text you tonight. 😏"
