These math tricks have been viewed millions of times on social media. They're not just viral - they're mathematically proven to work every single time!
1. Ask someone to pick a 3-digit number (first and last digit must differ by at least 2)
2. Reverse the digits
3. Subtract the smaller number from the larger
4. Reverse that result
5. Add the two numbers together
Example: 521 - 125 = 396 โ 396 + 693 = 1089 โ
To multiply 32 x 11:
For bigger numbers: If digits add to 10+, carry the 1!
Example: 78 x 11 โ 7+8=15 โ Put 5, carry 1 โ 7+1=8 โ 858
Hold hands with fingers extended. Number fingers 1-10 from left to right.
To multiply 7 x 9: Fold down the 7th finger. Count fingers before = 6, fingers after = 3.
To square 15: Multiply the second digit (5) by (5 + 10) = 5 ร 15 = 75. Add 25 to the end.
Works for 11-19 every time!
48 x 25: Divide 48 by 4 = 12, then add "00" โ 1200
Pick a digit 1-9. Repeat it 3 times (like 444). Multiply by 37.
Wait - the REAL trick: Any 3-digit number with repeating digits (AAA) ร 37 = AAAAA!
97 ร 94: Both are 3 and 6 away from 100.
First part: 100 - (3+6) = 91
Second part: 3 ร 6 = 18
To divide 85 by 5: 85 ร 2 = 170 โ Drop the zero โ 17
